Dr. SP Adeshara Founder & Promoter, JAP Herbals

A M. Pharm. & Ph. D. in Pharmaceutical Science from India’s oldest and most reputed pharmacy college, LM College of Pharmacy in Ahmedabad, Dr. Adeshara founded JAP Chemicals with his vast experience of 42 years in manufacturing of sterile dosage forms (Ampules, Vials, Cartridges, Ointments, Gels), oral dosage forms (Tablets, Capsules, Liquid orals, Softsules, Veterinary formulations), skin ointments and gels, Ayurvedic herbal products, as well its testing and quality control, R&D, regulatory and Academy.

He put in 15 years of experience in manufacturing of allopathic products, herbal products, medical devices like cardiac stents and R&D in companies of repute like M/S Sarabhai Chemicals, Cadila Laboratories and M/S Sahjanand Medical Technologies.

Subsequently he worked as regulator in Govt. of Gujarat in Food & Drugs Control Admn. In capacity of Joint Commissioner for 7 years and as Commissioner for 11.5 years.

After retirement, he worked as Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy in Dharmasinh Desai University, Nadiad. He also offered his services as Independent Director in M/S Zydus Group of companies.

He is Chairman of Independent Ethics Committee for approval of protocols for clinical trial by CROs.

Dr. Adeshara leads the research team that developed JAP Herbals’ flagship products viz. Rovaxi Gel, Rovaxi Plus Gel and few other products. Well versed with the latest GMP Norms, Dr. Adeshara is a stickler for perfection, and doesn’t accept anything below that.
